In collaboration with GW Agency (project managment/copywriting), Masters of Awkward (graphic design/photography), had the pleasure to complete a rebranding for the high-end shoe label Adede.
Abandoning all previous aesthetic and focusing on the brand name and it’s origin.
From African origin, the word ‘Adede’ means both grasshopper and balance. So those two elements worked as the foundation to create the logos, text, photography and all support elements.
The brand should transmit both elegance and sophistication but still look fresh and young.
Why do you deserve to win?
I’m proud of the final look of this project and happy with all the process because was given the chance to use an all range of skills. I managed singlehanded to concept and design the new logo and brandstyle, concept, style, photograph and retouch the campaign photography as design de develop a small brand website.
And I think the project was successful because all parties were extremely happy with final result and the client left with a set of tools that will allow him to develop a consistent brand.
I think this project deserves to win due to the way elegantly answers the client’s briefing and helps bring something new into the world.
